Alireza Khatami was born in 1980 and worked in the film industry in Iran before immigrating to Malaysia. He studied there and worked as a Visual Effects supervisor. He has produced short films, stories, scripts and installations. More recently, he appeared in Soroush Mohammadzadeh's 2016 feature film 'Wednesday' (Chaharshanbeh).
